Can I get my order gift wrapped?

Absolutely!  We are happy to offer FREE gift wrapping upon request.  Simply let us know in the comments section during checkout if you would like any items gift wrapped.  Some smaller items may be placed in a gift bag instead of wrapping.  Gift wrap is typically non-specific in design.  However, let us know if the wrapping is for a specific occasion (birthday, holiday, etc.) and IF we have any specific paper we will do our best to accommodate the occasion.

 

When can I pick up curbside?

Please wait for an email saying your order is ready for pick up curbside. Most orders will be ready to pick up in one day unless gift wrapping which will delay it by a day.  Your email will provide instructions on how to retrieve your items via curbside pick up.

 

When will my order ship?

Most orders placed will ship the next business day. Orders placed during weekends and after noon on Friday will ship Monday.  Orders with Gift Wrapped items will require one additional business day to prepare.  


What about oversized items? 

Some oversized items may be subject to a handling fee if shipped. This will be displayed on the item information page, and will NOT apply to curbside pickup.

 

Where will my order ship from?

All orders ship directly from The Children's Museum of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.  


Do you ship to Alaska & Hawaii?

Yes we do!  Shipping rates are calculated during checkout using real-time quotes from UPS and USPS.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we happily ship items internationally!  Shipping rates are calculated during checkout using real-time quotes from UPS.  These quote are for shipping ONLY, so you may have to pay additional taxes or duties in your country when the items arrive.  


Changed Your Mind?

No problem! Simply return the item to us and we will refund you the full item price (we cannot refund shipping in this circumstance). Please note: the item MUST be unused and in its original, unopened package. Please notify us at (317) 704-3410 or by emailing MuseumStore@ChildrensMuseum.org to initiate the returns process and receive return authorization within 30 days of purchase.  


Problem with Order?

If your reason for return is due to a defective item or an error on our part, we will either replace the item for you or issue a full refund (including shipping costs). If the item was part of a multiple item order, then a portion of the shipping cost will be refunded.  Please contact us at (317) 704-3410 or email us at MuseumStore@ChildrensMuseum.org to inform us of the error as quickly as possible so we can correct the situation.  We may request damaged items to be returned for quality control, so please keep all packaging.  If we do request a defective item returned we will provide you with a pre-paid return label. 


Can I Return In Store?

Returns and exchanges on orders from our website can be done in stores - just bring your return authorization and packing slip. Store credit will be issued for returns in this circumstance, since we cannot confirm original form of payment (online payments are confidential for your security).

 

Will I have to pay taxes on my purchase?

We charge state-specific sales tax to all orders shipping to Indiana or pickup up curbside.


Is my information safe?

Online credit card orders are processed through a secure server, which is as safe as using the card in person.

 

Are your toys safe?

All our toys meet or exceed government standards for child safety.
